Wearables have the potential to completely change the way we manage our own health, as well as improve how healthcare is delivered to us.
A recent study highlighted that the number of US consumers using health-related wearables has doubled in the past two years.
With the development of thin and lightweight flexible sensors, we’re no longer constrained to bulky pedometers or conspicuous hearing aids – discreet wearables are now a possibility. Furthermore, with smaller frameworks for the electronics, there’s potential to monitor and transfer larger amounts of vital data.
